Akra is a Senior Consultant at GSF Global Advisors. He primarily works on economic analysis, studies, and research assignments, supporting clients in producing strategic insights, formulating recommendations, and evaluating high-impact projects.
In this capacity, he leverages deep expertise in economic and quantitative analysis to conduct sector studies, develop analytical models, and support stakeholder decision-making, particularly on issues related to SME development, public governance, and economic policy.
Akra gained solid experience within the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit in Côte d’Ivoire as an Economist and Statistical Engineer Analyst. There, he contributed to the monitoring, coordination, and evaluation of strategic government projects, particularly through the implementation of recommendations from the anti–money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CFT) framework, as well as the preparation of reports submitted to international institutions.
He also contributed to the development of the Government Youth Program (PJGouv 2023–2025), supporting the identification and budgeting of projects, as well as the monitoring of government roadmaps through the design of performance indicators and the preparation of strategic briefs for public authorities. His role also included supporting policymakers through the drafting of economic analysis notes and high-level decision-making reports.
In addition, he led a consulting assignment as an independent consultant for the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Urban Development, focused on the development of a statistical yearbook, from data collection and analysis through to the official presentation of the results.
Previously, he worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Société Ivoirienne de Banque (SIB), where he developed financial analysis and risk management tools, including bond valuation models and Value at Risk (VaR) indicators, while also contributing to process automation. He also served as an Assistant Project Management Officer at Société Générale Côte d’Ivoire.
Akra is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Montreal, with a particular focus on SMEs and public governance. He holds a degree from the École Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Économie Appliquée (ENSEA) as an Economist and Statistical Engineer, following preparatory scientific studies at INP-HB.
He has strong skills in economic and financial analysis, statistical modeling, and programming (R, Python, Stata), which he applies to rigorous, impact-oriented analyses.
