Yannick is a Senior Advisor in Health Systems Strengthening, collaborating with GSF on high-level institutional advisory, government delivery, and large-scale public health programs across West and Central Africa. He advises Ministries of Health, government agencies, development finance institutions, and implementing partners on designing resilient health policies, optimizing healthcare supply chains, and driving accountable execution of national health priorities.

Bringing over 15 years of experience spanning civil service leadership and global development advisory, Yannick has built a proven track record in program delivery and resource mobilization. Notably, he directed a USAID-funded delivery portfolio in Côte d’Ivoire, contributed significantly to the drafting and approval of a Gavi technical assistance proposal for Niger, and supported the Global Fund C19RM end-term evaluation assessing health system resilience and pandemic preparedness in Côte d'Ivoire.

Prior to working with GSF, Yannick held senior leadership and advisory roles with leading global organizations, including JSI Research & Training Institute (Country Team Lead in Côte d'Ivoire and Niger), the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI – advising the Presidency of Burkina Faso and driving a 5-country vaccine access engagement across Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Rwanda, Zambia, and Ghana), the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI in Cameroon), and Côte d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Health (INHP). He has distinguished himself by designing and institutionalizing national performance-management tools officially adopted by governments, including Cameroon’s national immunization scorecard and Burkina Faso’s operational delivery-tracking tools.

His core capabilities include institutional transformation, data-driven decision-making, health logistics and last-mile distribution, cold chain optimization, and high-level stakeholder engagement with executive leadership and international donors. He is also recognized for advancing domestic resource mobilization and community health sustainability.

Yannick holds an Executive MBA from ISM Dakar (graduated with High Honors), a Master’s degree in Project Management from UTT Loko (Abidjan), a Bachelor’s degree in Health Logistics from IRSP / University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin), and a Higher National Diploma (BTS) in Logistics and Transportation. He holds multiple professional credentials, including RSLI (Bioforce), CHL (CILT UK), Project DPro, and Lean Six Sigma Foundations, and has authored published research in the Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice.

He now leverages his expertise within GSF to deliver transformative, result-oriented health initiatives that ensure institutional ownership and long-term impact across Africa.
